Natural Beauty.

When was the last time you heard silence? When was the last time you did nothing but everything you could ever want to do?

A few days ago i was walking through the Botanical Gardens of Wellington and i went up a serene track. As i looked out a refreshing breeze came my way and all i could hear after that was complete silence. The external silence allows my internal thoughts to quiten until i reached a point where i had melted into the scenery.

I often forget how beautiful nature is and how lucky we are to co-exist with it. Some of the most beautiful things in this world are the things we could never create. Trees, fruit, mountains, water, pinecones; nature.

When you live in a city its so easy to forget that the world isn't just buildings and tar-roads. The world is a natural haven that we often neglect and take for granted.

I don't really know where this is heading, but all i wanted to say is that we all need to embrace the natural beauty in this world to remember that the world is a beautiful place, the world is a paradise and we are lucky to exist with it.

Dr. Nourozi - diagnoses: nature-embracing.

  1. I totally agree with what you are saying. I have had the same experience as you while I was hiking in the Rockies. Words fail to express the beauty of the experience. Nature actually invites us to appreciate it simply by being there and waiting for us. We forget how healing it is to just sit quietly and observe something so much larger than ourselves and then allow ourselves to melt into it. By doing this we discover how healing nature can be.
